Galson Adds Business Development Manager in Midwest

Bill Walsh will handle the growing number of Galson Laboratories clients in the Midwest.

Galson Laboratories announces the hiring of William M. Walsh, CIH, as its Business Development Manager for the Midwest Region. Walsh has 20 years of laboratory and quality management, most recently as Managing Director for Micorbac Laboratories.

Before that, Walsh was Division Director for Bureau Veritas North American where he was responsible for technical and financial management of a 25,000-square-foot facility that specialized in industrial hygiene analyses. Walsh was also Director of Environmental Services for NATLSCO where he was responsible for the management of the field industrial hygiene group.

“Bill’s a problem solver who brings a great deal of experience that will be valuable in helping our clients solve their monitoring solution issues,” said Joe Unangst, President and CEO. “We are looking forward to having Bill manage our growing business in the Midwest region.”

Walsh has a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Biochemistry from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a master’s of business administration from the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He resides in McHenry, Illinois.
