Galson's Stuber Re-elected to AIHA Analytical Accreditation Board
Syracuse, NY - Ed Stuber, CIH, Monitoring Solutions Consultant for Galson Laboratories, was recently re-elected to his second term on the American Industrial Hygiene Association's (AIHA) Analytical Accreditation Board (AAB) by the laboratory directors of all AIHA accredited laboratories.
The board grants accreditation or registry status to laboratories, organizations or individuals applying and meeting all standards and qualifications. It recommends revocation if they are not meeting the AIHA's strict standards, and provides long-term planning for present and future accreditation programs.
Members of the eight-person AAB are elected for three-year terms with consideration given only to those with the proper experience and knowledge. Stuber has been with Galson Laboratories for more than 25 years, providing analysis and counsel to clients.
Stuber said he is honored to serve a second term on the AIHA Analytical Accreditation Board. "I'm pleased to contribute to continuing the high quality standards of this organization and this industry, that have a positive affect on health and safety in the work environment."
